Cristiano Ronaldo Dives into NFT World with Binance
Cryptocurrency has now entered the world of football. Non-Fungible Token or NFT as a derivative of cryptocurrency is now a trending topic. One of the centralized exchange platforms, namely Binance announced its collaboration with world soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo (CR).
Binance and Cristiano Ronaldo have teamed up to bring the CR exclusive NFT collection to the world’s football fans. Design NFT’s first collection will be launched at the end of 2022.
On CR’s personal Twitter account @Cristiano he tweeted, “Proud to work with @binance. Together we will give you the opportunity to own a new unique piece of sports history. I am happy to bring this story to you. Let’s change the NFT game with #Binance.”

Ronaldo Becomes Part of the NFT
On June 23, 2022, in a press release, was announced a partnership run by Binance and Ronaldo. From the agreement, the Manchester United player together with Binance will make several NFT products. For Ronaldo, NFT can be a link between him and his fans.
“My relationship with fans is very important to me, so I wanted to be a part of this unprecedented experience and access through the NFT platform. I know the fans will love this collection as much as I do,” said Ronaldo.

Changpeng Zhao (CZ) CEO of Binance, stated that Portugal international players are also planning to make NFT products as a connection with their fans. Like Ronaldo who followed the NFT trend to maintain his engagement with fans.
Several other world athletes have also entered the NFT world. Kevin Durant as a professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association (NBA) filed 26 NFT and metaverse trading applications. The app helps Durant fans to buy NFT, crypto collectibles, and more.
In addition, the English Premier League (EPL) proposed two digital asset trading applications to increase interaction with fans.
